With Christie Gone, NJ Taxpayers Poised to Fork Over $7.5 Million to Planned Parenthood

New Jersey Democrats are celebrating that a new governor from their own party has agreed to sign off on a bill to allow taxpayer dollars to be used for family planning grants to Planned Parenthood.

“This day has been eight years in the making and today we are finally going to pass legislation that we can reasonably expect will be signed,” state Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg said prior to the 29-9 vote in the Senate to appropriate $7.5 million in taxpayer funds to Planned Parenthood, reports NorthJersey.com.

Bill S120 is now before the state Assembly. Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy – who replaced pro-life Republican Gov. Chris Christie – promised to sign the bill if it gets to his desk.

Baptist Minister Defends Aborting Her Baby: “God Helped Me Make the Best Decision” | LifeNews.com

TRUTH BOMBS: If your actions are different than your stated beliefs then you really don’t believe in the first place. If your stated beliefs and actions are antithetical to Christ’s teaching, you are not a Christian.

ARTICLE: Thousands, maybe even millions, of women sit in American churches each week, hurting silently because of a past abortion.

Abortion is tragically common even among American Christians, despite Christian teachings about the sanctity of life. In 2014, 24 percent of women who had abortions identified as Catholic, 17 percent as mainline Protestant and 13 percent as evangelical Protestant, according to the Guttmacher Institute.

For many years, Susan Chorley, a Baptist minister from Boston, Massachusetts, was one of the women who remained silent about her abortion in church. Chorley shared her story with The Daily Beast this week and urged churches to offer compassion, empathy and healing to women who have abortions.

Unfortunately, Chorley also argued that churches should accept that women’s decisions to have abortions. She never mentioned how that decision destroys the life of an innocent human being in the womb, or how Christianity teaches that killing an innocent human being is wrong.

The Baptist minister said her decision to have an abortion was “wrenching,” and it left her feeling “sad” with a sense of “loss.” Still, she justified her decision to abort her second child 12 years ago.

She wrote:

I was serving in a congregation in New England at the time I realized I was pregnant. I was far away from family and friends. I had always imagined I would have a second child and I knew that it would be a struggle on our family financially as well as add to the stress of our marriage, which was starting to fall apart. I didn’t want to bring a baby into the world that would feel it was a burden—and I prayed to God to help me make the best decision I could in a situation that seemed impossible.

Later, she added:

Faith is so much more than judging right from wrong. Faith is about how we make meaning in our lives, how we understand our God, and how we live our values. Decisions about whether and when to grow one’s family carry the deepest meaning, and religious women make this decision in conversation with God, just as we do every decision.

Chorley is correct that churches need to do a better job of reaching out to women who have had abortions, but she never acknowledges that the root of these women’s pain is the abortion itself. To prevent more pain, churches should not accept abortions. Rather, they should be doing more to help stop abortions by offering pregnant and parenting families love and support.

Abortions are not the answer. They are not good for women or their unborn children. Not only do abortions kill unborn children, they often cause mothers to suffer intense emotional and sometimes physical pain. A number of studies have linked abortion with depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, drug abuse, suicidal tendencies and other psychological problems. Abortions also can have profound emotional effects on other members of the family, especially fathers and siblings of the aborted child.

Churches should be places where women and families can find healing and forgiveness when they are suffering because of an abortion. Debby Efurd, director of Post-Abortion Support for Involved Life in Dallas, Texas, explained that churches must reach out with compassion and understanding toward those who are hurting and need forgiveness.

“Understand their need for forgiveness,” Efurd wrote in 2013. “Many believe that because they knew it was wrong and did it anyway, abortion is a sin too big for God to forgive and often are unable to forgive themselves.”

Chelsea Clinton: I Left the Church When I Was 6 Because It Opposed Abortion | LifeNews.com

TRUTH BOMBS: Wow, so Hillary’s faith is her moral compass that leads her to murder millions of babies.

ARTCLES: In a new interview, Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of pro-abortion presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, says she left the Baptist Church at the age of 6 because it has a strongly pro-life position opposing abortions.

Clinton made the comment at a recent fundraiser for Hillary Clinton in an attempt to address evangelicals who question her mother’s faith in God. She said she was upset when teachers in a Sunday School class talked about the wrongness of abortion.

“I find it quite insulting sometimes when people say to my mom, my dad or me . . . that they question our faith,’ said Chelsea. “I was raised in a Methodist church and I left the Baptist church before my dad did, because I didn’t know why they were talking to me about abortion when I was 6 in Sunday school — that’s a true story.”

“My mother is very deeply a person of faith,” Chelsea said. “It is deeply authentic and real for my mother, and it guides so much of her moral compass, but also her life’s work.”

“I recognized that there were many expressions of faith that I don’t agree with and feel [are] quite antithetical to how I read the Bible,” Chelsea said. “But I find it really challenging when people who are self-professed liberals kind of look askance at my family’s history.”

A New York Post columnist quoted her comments from a Democrat who took notes at the event.

Here’s more:

The Southern Baptist Convention added Sanctity of Human Life Sunday — marking the Sunday nearest the anniversary of Roe v. Wade — to the denominational calendar in 1985. An accompanying sanctity of life Sunday school lesson was added to LifeWay Christian Resources curriculum in 1991.

Her father was baptized at age 9 in Park Place Baptist Church in Hot Springs, Ark. He dropped out of church when he got older, but the shock of losing his reelection as governor of Arkansas in 1980 — coupled with the birth of his daughter — drove him back to church.

Bill Clinton joined the 4,000-member Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock, Ark., singing in the choir and studying the Bible under tutelage of the congregation’s longtime pastor, W.O. Vaught.

Planned Parenthood Abortion Clinics Will Register Voters in One Room, Abort Them in Another | LifeNews.com

TRUTH BOMBS: WOW the DNC has a new plan for voter fraud. They do think outside the box now don’t they.

ARTICLE: In one of Planned Parenthood’s newest disturbing schemes, women now can both register to vote and have their unborn babies aborted in its facilities across the country.

The Hill reports Planned Parenthood just announced its plans to begin helping people register to vote at its facilities in 45 states. The abortion group said volunteers will help patients register to vote in person or online.

The abortion group says people can register at a Planned Parenthood “regardless of their background, beliefs or political ideology”; but Planned Parenthood is hardly unbiased. It is throwing all its weight behind pro-abortion candidate Hillary Clinton for president.

In January, Planned Parenthood endorsed Clinton in its first-ever presidential primary endorsement. It recently called Clinton the “strongest” pro-abortion presidential candidate “we’ve ever seen.”

The Hill report continues:

But the campaign, which will take place in person as well as online, will likely help Democrats. Planned Parenthood patients tend to skew younger and lower-income, and many are also minorities.

Those same groups are also more likely to be affected by stricter voting laws around the country, such as new ID mandates. Planned Parenthood said the effort is intended to help “historically disenfranchised” communities that face hurdles to voting.

People can register in person at health centers, college campuses and other community health locations, as well as online.

… Planned Parenthood’s political arm has become increasingly active in this year’s election. The group plans to spend $20 million ahead of the fall election to help boost Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton as well as Democratic candidates in key Senate races in New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

SIGN THE PETITION! Congress Must De-Fund Planned Parenthood Immediately

Planned Parenthood has found its champion in Clinton, who promised them that she would repeal the Hyde Amendment and force taxpayers to fund abortions.

The abortion giant also know that the next president could have the chance to nominate up to four U.S. Supreme Court justices – and sway the political leanings of the court for decades. Clinton promised to nominate U.S. Supreme Court justices who will ensure that Roe v. Wade and abortion on demand up until birth remain the law of the land for years to come.
